Ritualistic and Leadership School
Mission Statement:

“From a Masonic foundation, we will improve the ritualistic and leadership skills of the craft throughout the state of Illinois by providing an integrated array of instruction methods
that will enhance the quality of masonry throughout the state.”

Motto:

“Teaching and Learning with Dignity, Honor, and Respect.”

Blessings and Greetings:

I want to take a moment and thank the Grand Architect of the Universe for granting me the privilege of being elected and installed to serve the jurisdiction of Illinois as the Grand Lecturer.  I also want to thank the brethren for your vote of confidence.  I will perform all of the duties associated with this office as mandated by the Most Worshipful Prince Grand Lodge of Illinois Constitution and Bylaws and other duties as assigned by the M.W. Grand Master.

GOALS:

  • Continue the legacy of establishing a strong statewide ritualistic and leadership school of instruction.
  • Work with Lodges throughout the state to ensure uniformity
  • Implement a statewide “Ritualistic Proficiency Program”
  • Establish District degree teams
  • Conduct 4 statewide initiation’s
  • Establish a “Deputies Certification Program”
  • Create a website for the Deputies and Craft

This school year promises to be exciting, fun and more importantly very informative.   My goals are aggressive, but yet obtainable.  I will work closely with the District Deputies, Worshipful Masters, Wardens and brethren to create an environment that is wholesome to learning. With my endeavors and your assistance we will create an environment in which all brothers will enjoy learning and which will leave a lasting impression and legacy for all masons to reflect on.

Thank you for visiting and make it a Great Day!

Fraternally submitted,

Michael E. Patterson, 33rd
R.W. Worshipful Grand Lecturer
